Greens Maintenance Notice – On Monday & Tuesday, August 10 & 11, we will be performing solid tine aeration on the greens followed by a heavy top dressing of sand.  We understand playing on heavily sanded greens is not desirable, so we are discounting greens fees 20% August 10 through August 13.

Solid-tine aeration uses solid metal pins to puncture putting greens without removing soil cores. It relieves compaction, improves gas exchange, and drives roots deeper with minimal surface disruption, allowing golfers to play immediately.

Why Courses Choose Solid Tining

  • Faster Healing: Because no soil plugs are pulled, surfaces heal in days rather than weeks.
  • Increased Drainage: It helps water penetrate compacted zones without ruining the playability of the green.
  • Gas Exchange: It vents harmful gases out and allows fresh air into the root zone.
