Overseeding Time and Seed Establishment Methods

It’s that time of year where we have to plan ahead to ensure we have the best possible playing conditions for the upcoming winter months. That includes overseeding. At our golf course, our customers are very lucky we only close tee times for the morning of the day we overseed greens to allow our team to do a good thorough job. Crystal Cup Invitational

Our 8 month series of Crystal Cup season tournaments culminated with the Crystal Cup Invitational on Monday, September 22 with Rithy Khem and Dennis Sokol taking first place in the 2-person shamble with both player’s scores being tabulated. The team of David Sabino and Noah Longino played strong and came out on top of the net competition. Full Results
Merchandise gift cards were awarded to the top 5 teams for both the overall and net results along with gross and net skins pool. In total, we awarded merchandise gift cards of over $3,590!

3rd Annual Hill Country Junior Amateur Championship

Some of Texas’ best junior golfers competed at Crystal Falls the last weekend of September. Earning the Champions bags were Audrey Marler from Midland who was +7 after 36 holes of golf; and Beckett McLaughlin from Austin coming in at -2 over the two day event!
